Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb boneless chicken thighs, cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt
  • Basmati rice and naan, to serve

Steps

  1. 1Melt butter in a wide skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook 5 minutes until soft.
  2. 2Stir in garlic, ginger, and spices; cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. 3Add chicken and stir to coat. Pour in tomatoes and simmer 15 minutes.
  4. 4Stir in cream and honey; simmer 5 more minutes until chicken is tender and sauce is silky. Salt to taste.
  5. 5Serve over basmati rice with warm naan for scooping.
