Ingredients
- 4 juicy limes, washed well
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 6 cups cold water, divided
- Ice, to serve
Steps
- 1Trim the ends off the limes and cut each into 8 wedges. Do not peel.
- 2Add limes, sugar, and 3 cups cold water to a blender. Pulse 5 short times — no longer, or the pith turns bitter.
- 3Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing gently. Discard the solids.
- 4Stir in the condensed milk and remaining 3 cups water. Taste and add sugar if needed.
- 5Serve immediately over plenty of ice.
